Post race horse reports from recent Sydney meetings.

Warwick Farm October 16

Race 7: Taken Everything – Co-trainer Michael Hawkes reported that the mare had suffered a fracture to the near-fore pedal bone and will be spelled immediately. Notwithstanding this advice, Hawkes was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to Taken Everything being permitted to race/trial again.

Race 8: Adana – Stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, however, Adana would barrier trial prior to its next race start.

Randwick October 19

Race 1: Murungal – Trainer Con Karakatsanis advised that a subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities, and as such he has decided to proceed with the colt's preparation whereby the intention is to race at Randwick on Saturday 26 October.

Race 4: Maddi Rocks – Stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that whilst the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the filly, it had now been spelled.

Still Single – Stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the filly and that it is the intention to drop the filly back in distance at its next race start.

Race 5: Notation – Trainer Matt Dale reported that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, however, Notation had been spelled.

Race 7: Arcadia Queen – Stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the mare's post-race condition and that the intention is to continue with its preparation.

Ten Sovereigns – Stable representative R. Archibald reported that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the colt, however, a decision is yet to be made on whether Ten Sovereigns will continue to Melbourne or return to Ireland.

Sunlight – Co-trainer Tony McEvoy reported that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, and after a precautionary lung wash was undertaken, he indicated that Sunlight will continue to The Golden Eagle.

Race 10: Seaburge – Stable representative R. Moore advised that the stable veterinarian reported that the gelding had a degree of internal haemorrhage and as a result the stable has elected to send the gelding for a spell.

Randwick Trackwork October 22

Tip Top – Carmel Size, representing trainer Les Bridge, advised that at trackwork Tip Top had bled from both nostrils for the first time. Size was advised of the provisions of AR79(4).
