Favourite Shadow Hero is on the drift after the final field and barrier draw for Saturday's Victoria Derby at Flemington.

Shadow Hero has drifted as favourite at TAB from $3 to $3.30.

The Mark Newnham-trained gelding was victorious two starts back in the G2 Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill on September 28 before winning the G1 Spring Champion Stakes over Cox Plate runner-up Castelvecchio at Randwick on October 12.

Thought Of That is currently the $4.20 second elect following stylish wins in his last two runs for the training partnership of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace.

Thought Of That won by eight lengths in a maiden at Donald on October 8 before impressively winning the Caulfield Classic by almost four lengths on October 19.

Last Saturday's Drummond Golf Vase winner at Moonee Valley, Soul Patch, is on the third line of betting at $6.50 for trainer Ken Keys.

Warning won the Super Impose Stakes at Flemington on October 5 before finishing second to Thought Of That in the Caulfield Classic two weeks later.
