Benalla Race 6 @ 4.00pm
Ocean Heart has good gate speed and should lead comfortably. OCEAN HEART (4) led all the way to record an arrogant maiden win over 1400m at Hamilton last start. Has only raced twice and an extra furlong is ideal so expect her to be winning again. WALK FREE (5) backs up six days after a close 5th over 1400m at Wangaratta when second up from a spell. Has a fine record at the mile and generally hits form at this stage of the campaign. FREEDOMS (3) was deep on the bend but wound up nicely to claim 3rd prize over this trip at Echuca recently. Distance specialist with strong claims on a quick back-up. CRASH CRANACH (6) had a very tough run in that same Echuca race last Tuesday. In the mix with luck from a wide gate. SELECTION: #4 Ocean Heart looks very smart and should take care of these.

Lismore Race 6 @ 4.50pm
Huey and Fourgrandman to roll forward at an even clip. PRINCE OF ARRAN (2) has been freshened up since tiring out of the contest over 1680m at Ipswich 40 days ago. Ran a very good 2nd at Doomben the run before when he took a while to find clear galloping room then charged home late. Clearly the one to beat if he recaptures that form. LILY OF CHINA (5) had the right run but didn't quite get the 1700m at Grafton last start. One run for one win at this trip. Sure to be thereabouts. TOTTEN (9) hasn't been far away all prep. Very fit at his fourth run in from a spell but does need some cut in the ground to show his best. MAXIMALIST (6) went very close at Beaudesert last start after a tough maiden win the start before at Lismore. Cannot be ruled out. SELECTION: #2 Prince Of Arran is an attractive bet at $4 in morning markets.
