ARMIDALE: RACE 1 @ 1:30 PM
This looks a very winnable race for POINT COUNTERPOINT (3). Has had five runs for the new stable for a win and three seconds and is racing in career-best form. Had a throw at the stumps at Eagle Farm last start and wasn't disgraced. Placed over this track and trip and looks very hard to toss. BATTLE GUARDIAN (1) was a good second at Taree three starts back in harder grade. Will be rock-hard fit and gets 2kg off with the claim. Looks the main danger. BUCKIN' BULL (8) is having his second run for the new stable and will run out the trip. NATURE BOY (5) has had a few chances but has placed at his past two and gets 3kg weight relief. WAZENA (4) is best of the rest based on a handy second last time out. SELECTIONS: Point Counterpoint to win.

WELLINGTON: RACE 4 @ 3:15 PM
BANJU (1) has been a model of consistency with a win and seven placings from eight starts. Has placed three from three at the journey and is drawn well for Cray in gate three. Looks a great each-way hope. LOPE DE BROKER (3) was a good winner first-up and then tried to lead all the way and just got pipped late at Scone. Can be in the finish. SUMMER GLOW (9) is one from one at this trip and from a good stable. Respect. AHEAD START (4) hasn't done much wrong in both starts and can be in the frame. THE DROVER (5) has placed at the trip and drawn to get the run of the race. SELECTIONS: Banju each-way.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 4:50 PM (AEDT)
FOREIGN TERRITORY (1) ran below expectations last time at Eagle Farm over 1830m. Comes back in trip this time around and is expected to be tough to hold out. REBEL SALUTE (5) posted a poor effort last time but previous efforts had been solid. Can turn that poor showing around. Don't discard. TUMBLER RIDGE (10) has been safely held in two runs this campaign but will strip much fitter and the extra ground here will assist. SPARTAN JET (3) has been around the money is recent assignments and again has claims against this line-up. SELECTIONS: Back Foreign Territory.
OAKBANK: RACE 8 @ 5:20 PM
WORSFOLD (8) was a Strathalbyn winner on debut and has been sent out favourite his past couple in stronger races, the latest behind Kyshaka. He looks hard to beat here. MONRAAJ (6) scored a deserving win at Morphettville last time running down Fulton Street and should get a gun run from barrier two. STRYKE IN STYLE (1) ran very well first-up from a spell behind Viduka at Morphettville. He's won five of 21 and looks well suited form a good gate with Todd Pannell riding. LOVE MAGIC (4) was runner-up behind Annika at Morphettville two starts back and was a Gawler winner in December. BAJAN (2) finished off well behind Shinseki at Port Lincoln last time and gets the blinkers again but has drawn badly. SELECTIONS: Worsfold to bounce back to winning form.
