Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 3.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Ipswich, Kyneton and Taree,
IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 3:12 PM
WOLF MOON (6) was placed in a Listed race last start at Eagle Farm. Won at 1600m the start before that so the distance isn't an issue. Just has to replicate his last start and he will be hard to beat. VALLEY OF DREAMS (12) has been beaten under a length in his last two starts. Will be able to sit right behind the leaders. Has the ability to win this. SNIPPETSPEED (8) is a consistent gelding. Stuck on well to finish just outside the placings last start at the Sunshine Coast. Won't be far away. OKANAGAN MISS (2) stuck on for third at Dalby last start over 1400m. Gets some weight relief with the apprentice claim. Looks a big chance in the race. IPSO NEM FELEK (11) has great statistics over this track and distance. Can win on his most recent effort.
SELECTIONS: Wolf Moon to show them who's boss.
As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Ipswich Computer Card.
KYNETON: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
Decimated by scratchings and impossible to go past SAINT OF KATOWICE (3). Coming off a maiden win at Swan Hill when first up and jockey J Allen sticks. Was far too good fresh and has upside so pay to follow up. COMPARDY (5) finished fifth last start, beaten 5.5 lengths at Geelong over 1500m. Can do much better and gets chance here now in the lighter field. CYCLONE SALLY (9) can also improve off the last start at Pakenham when went too keenly. BON SPOT (1) is an improver.
SELECTIONS: Stick with Saint Of Katowice.
TAREE: RACE 1 @ 12:55 PM
RAINBOW MAN (6) is ready to win for the Perry yard. Draws out but Taylor should find cover. The form reads well. SARCOPHAGUS (7) will be better for the three runs back. Gets the blinkers first-time and the claim and is the danger. WANMEI (1) is on the improve and can get into the finish today. SUPER TED (8) races at peak fitness and won't be far away finding his best.
SELECTIONS: With Rainbow Man.
