Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 6.
GEELONG: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM
ZORRO'S DREAM (5) is building a nice record having only missed a place twice in thirteen career starts to date. He's won two of his past three starts and was a narrow second down the Flemington straight last start. Look for him to be finishing hard again here from an ideal draw. KALKARNI ROYALE (6) looks ready to show her best here following two good runs to start this campaign. She was only run down late last start behind Ocular which reads very well for this. Consider. DOUBLE BUBBLE (8) creates plenty of interest here resuming having won three from four attempts first up in the past including a win over the group class Massimo. This distance suits and she appeals strongly. MARKETING (16) hasn't been disgraced behind smart types Corner Pocket and Chief Altony at his past two and represents value in early markets with the Blinkers going on. SHANTARA (14) is progressing nicely and has scope for further improvement here second up. SELECTIONS: Follow up on Zorro's Dream.

BAIRNSDALE: RACE 4 @ 2:15 PM
KIMBERLEY SPIRIT (2) just missed first-up and is back on track. He can find his best now and will get every chance off the handy barrier. ILOVEANNIE (4) has won and placed the last two after slow starts. He keeps the 2kg claim and fitter can make the finish with average luck in the run. SALLY SELLS SHELLS (7) was plain the latest but the form prior stacks up. Gets a low gate today and is in the mix. HELLO SWEETHEART (8) wasn't fancied on the synthetic racing accordingly. Was only beaten 1.5L here first-up and can bounce with the blinkers in again. SELECTIONS: Backing Kimberley Spirit.
IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 2:45 PM
WITHOUT THINKING (4) has had just the five starts winning last three in succession. Easy winner last time and looks the testing material again. HOSTAGE OF WAR (1) has been placed at both runs this campaign and did chase gamely last time. Will be fitter again and won't be too far away. PERNELL (7) found the company too strong in town last time after recording a good win at the Sunshine Coast. Should make a bold bid here. VALLEY OF DREAMS (10) was too strong last time and is worthy of thought for multiples against this lot. SELECTIONS: Back Without Thinking.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 5 @ 3:15 PM
BIG HAPPINESS (1) did a good job to shed the maiden tag last time out over this track and trip. Drawn well in gate three and Bullock was in the saddle for that victory and sticks. From a very good yard and looks the one they all have to run down. MIRROR MODEL (6) has been thereabouts without winning this campaign but will be rock-hard fit for this. Looks a key contender. SWORDSMAN (8) has been runner-up both runs this time in and his only win came at this track. In the mix. CANFORD MICK (5) has placed two from four first-up from the spell and can earn a cheque. MR CRUISE (4) is best of the rest on the back of a last start victory. SELECTIONS: Big Happiness to win.
MURWILLUMBAH: RACE 6 @ 3:35 PM
SAILING (10) ran on well to finish third at Eagle Farm last start. This is much easier and gets in well at the weights. The one to beat. DEFACTOR (5) returns from a spell today and has two placings from three attempts first-up. Was only beaten two lengths at Ipswich before the break. Lightly raced and has upside. Winning chance. DISARMED (3) was eased out of the race last time out but was good the start prior at Ipswich. If he can run up to his start two back then he will be competitive in this field. MEMPHIS SQUAW (7) has been racing well. Drew wide last start and faded to finish ninth. Forgive that run as he had been in the money her four starts prior. Back in trip looks to suit. Will be in the finish. DORSET COAST (1) hasn't impressed in his two runs back from a spell but has never been beaten third-up. Apprentice claim of Jasper Franklin will help. Won't be far away. SELECTIONS: Sailing to get the victory.
PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 6 @ 4:18 PM (AEDT)
RUSHWA (2) has won two of his past four starts both here and draws to take up a forward spot from barrier two and is sure to take beating again. DOCTOR DOOLITTLE (1) has been placed at all four starts here and was placed behind Jaamint last time out. He has a tricky barrier but is sure to give this a shake. GIRLINTHEMIRROR (3) has been placed at her past two and must be given plenty of thought on her Clare win four starts back. AUGUSTA ROCK (4) got the job done here two 0tarts back before chasing home Duke Of Christophe last time. He draws wide but is aided by the claim. JACKPOT JOHNNY (6) was a good Hawker winner last time and his previous behind Jaamint was pretty good for this. SELECTIONS: Rushwa to continue his great form here.
PINJARRA: RACE 7 @ 5:30 PM (AEDT)
ENGLISH HERITAGE (5) improved again missing a lip this track as favourite and has a good future. Peaks with top hoop sticking and is the one to beat. PRIZE PURSUIT (1) has had four runs back and has been close-up in all. Runs along and should go close with the 3kg claim. MIGHTINESS (3) was plain at Belmont but placed first-up at Ascot and would be very competitive reaching his peaks. Gets the blinkers again and the claimer for Pike. Draws low and is in the mix. Stablemate FOOTSTEPS (9) can build on the Maiden win and a form hoop stays with her. SELECTIONS: Backing English Heritage.
