Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 10.

Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Gosford, Ballarat, Rockhampton and Pinjarra.

GOSFORD: RACE 1 @ 12:45 PM

SELHURST PARK (3) has been very good this preparation with two runner-up finishes including one over this track and trip last time out. Has drawn perfectly in gate one and Parr has been on board for both placings and sticks. Reaches peak fitness now third-up and looks the one they all have to run down. FORZANINI (6) hasn't been disgraced in three career starts including a handy third at Randwick on debut. Can be improved by recent racing and looms as a major player. DAY PERFORMER (4) has been thereabouts in both starts and is drawn well for Collett in gate two. In the mix. SHEZ RISING (7) has been tuned up for this with two easy trials and deserves respect on debut. TROJAN HERO (2) has had plenty of trials and is a massive watch first time at the races.
SELECTIONS: Selhurst Park to win.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM

KEEP ON FIGHTING (4) returned with an excellent effort at Sale over a shorter trip. Is going to strip fitter this time and the rise in trip suits. Should be hard to beat. LAVEE STAR (5) is going to strip fitter for first-up performance. Bigger track here likely to assist and must be given respect. FLEET DREAMS (2) ran a solid race on a heavy track last time and on the firmer ground here is worthy of thought. BABA VANGA (14) is coming off a long break and fresh up here should not be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Keep On Fighting the win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 8 @ 4:40 PM

DR NEIGH (2) seeks the hat-trick off the easy CL2 win. Keeps getting better and the hot jockey will use the rail. Back after 9-days and is the one to beat again. NATURAL EMPEROR (1) won first-up and has threatened the two starts since in this grade. Gets a claim and draws a low gate today, which she can use. A bounce is likely. ASK ME TOMORROW (3) was better second-up and has more up the sleeve. Finds easier and can make the finish again. SHARINDI (8) is a speedy improver and gets the key jockey switch to Fradd. Can manage the sticky gate and shouldn't be far away at a price.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Dr Neigh.
