Major TAB meetings are today held at Bendigo, Coonamble, Ballarat, Port Augusta, Kalgoorlie and Kempsey.

BENDIGO: RACE 5 @ 2:00 PM

CHATELAINE (11) has the form to take this out dropping sharply in grade. She just missed three starts ago when favourite before two solid efforts in BM64's including a sound third two starts ago behind the in form Nordic Pride. She was close up last start when in the market and should appreciate this trip. Look for her to go close. MY BUTTONS BIGGER (7) broke through narrowly last start but stuck to his task well. He can measure up despite dropping in trip. ECLAIR RHYTHM (1) can be forgiven for last start when he found the grade too tough. This race suits better and his form prior was sound. FRATELLO (2) comes to this race in winning form and should be thereabouts again. STAR WATCHER (14) ran well at this track last start and is one for the exotics. SELECTIONS: #11 Chatelaine has the form.

COONAMBLE: RACE 4 @ 1:55 PM

LEGAL ZOU (3) won well as favourite last time out at Dubbo. Clayton Gallagher stays in the saddle who has a win and a placing from his two rides. Shapes as the one to beat. SPILT (5) finished second when fresh from a break at Scone last time out. Gets an inside draw and Grant Buckley in the saddle today. Will be in the finish. PLAYING FOR KEEPS (6) broke his maiden well at Gunnedah last start by 1.5 lengths. Yvette Lewis keeps the ride and he's not to be discounted. WRITE ON (1) was third at Gunnedah last start at $20. has had a freshen up and performs well fresh. Keep safe. SELECTIONS: #3 Legal Zou to get the win.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 2 @ 1:10 PM

TESSNEEM (11) was solid on debut when second on the turf track here. Will have had a look at this track in gallops as trained here and looks the testing material. CROCODILE DUNDEEL (3) failed to fire last time and was spelled. Form earlier in campaign reads OK for a race of this nature. Won't be far away. SLAM THE HAMMA (7) gets onto the synthetic track for the first time. Coming back after a short break and should not be dismissed. KERMALAW (5) lines up for first start of his third campaign. Not meeting an overly strong affair and is worthy of thought here. SELECTIONS: Back #11 Tessneem the win.

PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 4 @ 1:40 PM

DESIDERO (2) has won three, placed two of five starts here. He was back to his beat beating Nostrovia last time and will take a power of besting again after the claim. JAY PEE BEE (5) has been placed at two of his past three starts and looks a suited despite a wide gate. DUKE OF CHRISTOPHE (3) scored here three starts back and is better than last time when well beaten behind Eurogem at Gawler on a soft track. CASHING UP (10) draws wide but has won seven races and can run into the multiples. WICKED RHYTHM (4) resumes here and has claims on his KI form from earlier in the year. SELECTIONS: #2 Desidero should be winning again.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 7 @ 4:25 PM

WUNDERKIND (6) deserved the big Maiden win and then found one better after in stronger than this. Gets a leading rider for the apprentice and the filly can bounce back. CANTO DE GUERRA (2) was tracking well before being out-graded at Belmont where he led. Fitter now and will find the speed okay. REGAL DIVIDEND (11) is a leader who has been racing in the city. Gets the chance to turn things around at country level. GALAHS DO ROAR (8) draws out but was just beaten second-up at Northam and can make the first-four with the extra fitness. SELECTIONS: Backing #6 Wunderkind.

KEMPSEY: RACE 5 @ 2:15 PM

OH SAY (1) has been in career-best form with two wins and three placings from her past five starts. Goes well for Day who has had three steers for two wins and a third and is one from one over this journey. Drawn to get a soft run from gate four and is clearly the one they all have to run down. DRAGON DREAM (2) looked handy in his first campaign and has tuned up for this with an easy Taree trial. Can be right in the finish while fresh. CONDOVER HALL (4) is very honest placing in the top five at his past seven starts. A must for the multiples. OAKFIELD ROMANCE (9) loves this trip with two wins and ten placings from 18 attempts. Can earn a cheque again. GREAT MARLOW (3) has placed over this course and distance and can be in the frame. SELECTIONS: #1 Oh Say to win.
