TRIAL POINTERS
RANDWICK June 8: Group placed CONSTRUCT in the right form to resume after he recorded his second recent trial win, surging to the line from off the pace for a strong win in his 1045m heat (64.23; 36.32). A sharp 1045m heat win by SKEDADDLE (63.96; 35.77) has her set to go on from her impressive debut win over 1100m in February.
GOSFORD May 31: The 1000m heat win by SYZYGY STARS (61.83; 37.42) had merit and he appeals as one to watch for in a suitable maiden.
RANDWICK May 28: An impressive win in a fast 736m heat (43.24; 33.35) by Breeders Plate placegetter CONSTRUCT augers well for his coming campaign as he looked sharp letting down from off the pace with a strong sprint over the last 200m. MURA MURA wasn't the quickest of the 2YO heat winners over 1050m (64.22; 35.88) but was visually impressive as she held the lead easily and was held back to the chasers as Kerrin McEvoy was intent on giving her an easy time. Should have no trouble breaking her maiden. The speedy SKEDADDLE delivered an unextended 3.2 lengths win in the 3YO heat over 736m (43.48; 33.30).
RANDWICK May 13: The 2YO filly MURA MURA, responsible for good placings in her early race starts, was not asked to extend finishing a close second in her 740m heat (44.15; 34.29).
RANDWICK May 13: HUESCA, a Not A single Doubt colt having his first trial, recorded the fastest 740m heat win (43.76; 34;09) with a strong win from off the pace.
