ROSEHILL May 19

Thick fog blanketed the early trials with no clear vision of the first and second open company heats over 1030m where the first won by OUTBACK DIVA (62.73) was more than a second faster than the second heat won by SCARLET DREAM (63.79).
The eight heats over 900m were less than spectacular with only three winners breaking 55 seconds in the soft ground. While nothing was a standout Team Hawkes would have been content with the solid heat wins by the unraced 2YOs OH SAY (54.71) and FLY SLIP (54.59).
