ROSEHILL MULTI

RACE 1 (6) KIKU: Promising filly is taking the step up to a BM72 from a maiden win over 1400m at this course on November 20 at fourth time of asking after placings at her first three starts. The class rise can be a bridge too far for some but there's a lot to like about the way this filly finds the line backed up by what she has done on the clock as she ran the last 600m of her maiden win almost a second faster than several rivals in this field recorded in a BM68 event over 1200m on the same program. She has been comfortable on good and soft tracks and has the scope to go on with it.

RACE 5 (7) ENCHANTED HEART: Strong mare has been in excellent form and brings strong credentials to this class. She carried 60kg to win a BM72 in heavy going over this course and distance in October before running home gamely to be beaten a head in a BM78 over 1400m on her home track at Newcastle on November 14 where she gave 5kg to the winner Great News with Miss Einstein third. That form stood up well at Rosehill last Saturday and expect the same here as she is favourably placed dropping 6kg off her last run.

RACE 7 (5) POETIC CHARMER: First-up specialist has missed a place only once in seven starts when fresh and is set to add to that record on the back of two excellent trials. He has never gone better judging by the way he has performed in those trials, surging home to win a Randwick heat last month and again taking the eye when third in a 900m heat at Rosehill last Monday where he made up many lengths from last at the 400m under a strong hold. Expecting a bold showing at generous odds with Hugh Bowman a key booking.

TRIAL POINTERS

ROSEHILL November 30: POETIC CHARMER has never gone better in recent trials. Took the eye with his surging third behind in his 900m heat and while the time was only fair (55.24; 34.52) it was the way he made up many lengths from last at the 400m that made an impression.

ROSEHILL November 12: A strong open company trial win from the talented sprinter SINGLE BULLET in the equal fastest 900m heat (53.60; 33.57).

RANDWICK November 10: POETIC CHARMER looks ready to go first-up after comfortably reeling in his rivals from off the pace (64.00; 35.33) in his 1050m heat.

RANDWICK October 30: ELEVEN ELEVEN didn't come up to expectations in his last prep but his efforts in recent trials point to a strong summer campaign. Showed he had come on from his first up trial at Hawkesbury to sprint away with his 735m heat in fast time (42.70; 32,75), scoring by 3.3 lengths with plenty in hand. He again trialled quietly under no pressure at Warwick Farm on November 17.
