RANDWICK MULTI

RANDRACE 6 (5) SNAPDANCER: Looks a good move by the hot Maher/Eustace stable to send this Group-placed Victorian mare to Sydney in top form after a dominant first-up win over 1200m at Ballarat on November 21 when she powered away from her rivals under 59kg after a wide run.  She's a proven second-up winner who is unbeaten in two starts over 1200m, she's down in weight, well drawn and gets Hugh Bowman – it all reads well!

RACE 9 (16) NEW ARRANGEMENT: This talented import is still a maiden in 10 Australian starts but he's been placed five times for the Waller stable and has never finished worse than fourth in his last eight starts. This could be his day as he has raced without luck in two starts since resuming and will relish getting over the mile at Randwick with a 5kg drop to the limit weight off his game last fourth over 1500m at Rosehill after a poor ride left him racing three wide on the pace. This time he will get every chance tucked away behind the speed from a soft draw.

TRIAL POINTERS

ROSEHILL November 30: Glen Boss gave the fast filly FAKE LOVE an easy time after she shared a contested lead in her 900m heat. She had too much class and speed over the last 300m, having no trouble running the fastest time in all the 15 heats over the distance (53.62; 34.34).

RANDWICK November 24: SUMMERBEEL is a Savabeel filly showing sharp precocity for her breeding, improving off a placing in her first trial on November 10 to travel easily in her 735m heat (43.39; 33.09) and score with plenty in hand by two lengths. It was the best of the four 2YO heats at this session. CANTON KID was an easy provincial maiden winner in July and is set to resume after two recent Randwick trial wins. Pulled his way to the front after 200m in his 1045m heat and after travelling strongly extended easily for a soft 1.8 lengths win while posting the quickest time for the seven heats over the trip (61.70; 33.61). He was the only heat winner to go under 62 seconds.

RANDWICK November 10: Rachel King had a lap full of horse holding down SOUTHERN LAD for a strong win in his 1050m heat and while the time was slow (65.02; 34.44) he looks in the right form to perform boldly first-up given that he produces his best when fresh.
