RACE 4 (8) ACCOUNTABILITY: Sticking with this scratching from last week's Listed Christmas Cup at Rosehill as he still ticks all the right boxes. In fact this BM88 is an easier class of race than he would have faced last week on a seven day back up from his excellent third over 2000m in BM78 at Rosehill on December 5. He had won his previous two starts in the style of genuine stayer and the form from his last race stood up when the winner Significance completed the double in the Christmas Cup. He's down 3kg off his last run and the expected strong pace on a testing affected track plays to his strengths.

RACE 5 (4) FULMINA: Progressive mare is heading for better races and should find this an ideal step after her impressive first-up third over 1500m at Rosehill when she clocked the best closing sectionals after giving away too much start from a wide gate. Her only previous Randwick start resulted in a big win in the wet and she should relish the expected heavy conditions given that she has already won three of her five starts on affected tracks. The mile is perfect for her second up and the 2kg claim for top apprentice Tommy Sherry adds to her appeal.

RACE 10 (I14) ARABIAN HUSSEY: Victorian raiders have been on a roll in Sydney and this promising filly can do her fast rising rookie trainer proud if she progresses as expected from her dominant last start win over 1400m at Sandown when she showed classy acceleration to score by five lengths under 59kg for her second success in only four starts. Her team will be confident she can cope with the conditions as she recorded her maiden win on an affected track and with a massive 6.5kg drop from her Sandown victory she has the figures to match this class and book her passage to next month's Magic Millions Guineas at the Gold Coast.

TRIAL POINTERS

RANDWICK December 8: Clare Cunningham's 7YO gelding CRADLE MOUNTAIN is a bit of an enigma but he showed his old spark with an impressive win in the only 1200m heat, running them along at better than average trial pace and forging away to score by 5.5 lengths in good time for a trial over this trip (71.89; 34.05).

ROSEHILL November 30: AWAY GAME, winner of last season's MM Classic, had a soft time under Glen Boss, being held down for a close third in a fast 3YO heat over 900m (53.82; 34.10). It was a nice start to her prep for the MM Guineas at the Gold Coast next month.
