Racy 3YO fillies EVERY ROSE and WRITTEN BEAUTY took the honours in the black type heats. Mark Newnham's flashy girl EVERY ROSE was a lot sharper than when she contested her recent first-up trial, jumping to the lead in the 1000m heat and then never challenged to record a dominant 6.3 lengths win ((59.65; 34.62) over the import CLIFF'S ART. SCARLET DREAM was the one taking the eye working into third place.

The exciting filly WRITTEN BEAUTY is a genuine G1 prospect for the Hawkes stable. She looked all class driving clear of her rivals to lead at her leisure, doing it easily to beat her classy stablemate DIRTY WORK by 3.8 lengths (53.58; 34.65). SUBEDAR (4th) impressed with the way he found the line, indicating he has come on well from his first-up placing after a long spell.
Very nice work from @HawkesRacing filly Written Beauty as she easily accounts for stablemate Dirty Work and Golden Eagle runner-up Icebath in a trial at Warwick Farm on Monday. @tabcomau @7horseracing pic.twitter.com/XO65YZUTFd

Mark Newnham's team were in good form winning three other heats on the polytrack while Team Hawkes produced two nice youngsters for their first trials in the 2YO heat.
ACADEMY was the pick of Newnham's polytrack winners with a strong front running effort in the 1175m heat (74.57; 36.77). His trial/race/trial program since resuming should have him ready to run his best. HAPPY CANDY won the open heat over 740m for Newnham in the fastest time of the five heats over the distance (44.22; 33.95) but the David Pfeiffer-trained runner-up BLOSSOM STAR was the one to make the best impression with a strong finish from the rear under a kind ride.
Pfeiffer also won a maiden heat over 740m with a nice newcomer KING CHARMING (44.54; 34.36) running good time. The Newnham-trained ZAIN'S GIRL won the other maiden heat in slower time (44.87; 34.68). The 3YO heat went to the Joe Pride-trained PARACHUTER in a slowly run heat (45.48; 35.33) where a bunched finish saw few runners put under pressure.
The Hawkes-trained youngsters CLEMENCEAU and PEINDRE dictated the juvenile heat (44.92; 34.45) with both youngsters going to the line under quiet rides for a 1-2 finish that should bring them on as they work towards their debuts.
