ROSEHILL MULTI

RACE 3 (4) KAAPFEVER: Survival of the fittest over 3200m and on that score this honest 6YO will get every chance for a black type win carrying only 50kg after the claim for apprentice Tyler Schiller. Found his best form with the blinkers back on last start when a strong second in heavy going over 2400m at Warwick Farm carrying 59.5kg in an effort that underlined his liking for winter tracks. Will be a worthy rival for last year's winner Sweet Thomas in this disappointing field with a massive 10kg weight advantage.

RACE 5 (5) SERENA: Former stakes placed Kiwi mare gets to 1600m for the first time since landing in Sydney, significant as she never missed a place in her four starts over this trip in NZ including her black type third. Had excuses at her third local start when beaten only a half length over 1400m at Warwick Farm under 58kg on June 14 and there is obvious scope for her to improve with 3kg less over the extra trip. Big value for a mare with her record, especially on slow and heavy tracks.

RACE 7 (10) GREAT HOUSE: This lightly-raced import by Galileo made a fine start to his second Australian campaign when driving hard late for a narrow first-up win under 58kg over 1500m at Rosehill on June 5. That was his third win in only seven career starts and he should take this rise in class and distance in his stride, noting that he won easily over 2000m on a slow track at Rosehill when second up in January. Seems destined for better things.

TRIAL POINTERS

RANDWICK June 21: All Too Hard filly BEEP TEST was a smart winner from the Randwick trials on June 8 who was able to repeat with a strong win in her 1080m heat (64.88; 34.51). She controlled the trial from the front and was working well within herself to hold her rivals.

HAWKESBURY June 15: Veteran local trainer Garry Frazer produced a real runner in the racy unraced 3YO gelding TOCOMAH. Showed natural speed to lead and cruise away under a kind ride from Rachel King to score by 4.35 lengths while running very quick closing sectionals in the fastest 800m heat (46.16; 32.54). He was the only 800m heat winner to go under 47 seconds by a long way.

ROSEHILL June 18: SAVATIANO dominated her trial from the front but she was never under pressure in a slowly run 900m heat (56.55; 35.53) with no intent from her rivals to run her down.

WARWICK FARM June 11: Honours on the morning went to the talented Joe Pride-trained mare THREEOOD. She went through her gears in the 1175m heat (69.62; 34.29) in good style to forge away over the last 200m for a soft win after sitting outside the lead

RANDWICK June 8:. The Les Bridge-trained mare MADAM LEGEND recorded a sharp 1045m heat win (63.45; 35.08). Certain to race well fresh.

RANDWICK May 13: Class mare EMERALDS steamed home from last for third in the 1040m heat, an effort that indicates she is back on track after a couple of autumn carnival failures.
