RACE 2 (9) ALLINTHISTOGETHER: Average class race for a Saturday program will suit this lightly raced improver. Came off a close up debut fourth in a strong midweek form race to win her maiden with a lot of authority over 1600m at Gosford where she revelled in the heavy ground. Can only make more improvement off that performance sneaking into this race with her light weight.
RACE 6 (1) LANCASTER BOMBER: Leading apprentice Tom Sherry can make a successful return from injury uniting with this accomplished wet tracker under favourable conditions. His first-up third behind the flying Malkovich and Hulk over 1000m at this course a month ago was a beauty and Sherry's claim sees him drop 2kg off that effort. He meets Hulk 2.5kg better and a strong barrier trial in the interim has him set to run to his best.
RACE 8 (9) ZIEGFELD: This French stakes winner has been gelded since he made his Australian debut at Rosehill in February and is primed for a bold showing fresh after trialling strongly for a soft win at Canterbury last week. He was a first-up winner in France and it's a big tick that he won twice in soft ground and was placed on a heavy track in strong Group 2 company at Longchamp. Well placed on that form.

TRIAL POINTERS
CANTERBURY Jul 2: Boom youngster SIR CRACKLE kept his unbeaten record in three trials intact with another big win in his fast 895m heat (56.70; 36.69). Sat second before railing through turning for home. Loped to the line with plenty in the locker to score by a soft 3.1 lengths with the third horse 11 lengths way. Classy French winner ZIEGFELD was well fancied when he made his Australian debut in February and his strong 1100m heat win (70.32; 37.79) points to him being ready to make his mark when he resumes. Classy Godolphin stablemates ZAKAT and VIRIDINE weren't at their top to finish first and second in their slow 900m heat (58.89; 37.10).
WARWICK FARM June 25: CAPRI LANE led and had no trouble holding his rivals to win the open heat over 740m in good time (43.23; 23). LANCASTER BOMBER bungled the start and but worked to the line nicely from last over the last 200m.
ROSEHILL June 18: Choisir gelding SIR CRACKLE led with ease and stretched out for a soft 5.25 lengths win in good time (55.43; 35.78) with plenty in hand. Quality grey FROSTY ROCKS led as usual to win a 900m heat in smart time (55.24; 35.36) after a similar effort to take out an earlier Rosehill 900m trial on June 4 (55.45; 34.92). He's in good order to race well fresh.
RANDWICK June 8: Last year's Black Opal Stakes winner BARBARIC didn't come up in one start earlier this season but looked back on track winning his first trial in 25 weeks in good style. Sat deep outside the lead and was always working well within himself to win his 736m heat under a kind ride, albeit in slow time (44.65; 33.97).
