Aquis Farm-based stallion Duporth (Red Ransom) sired his seventh stakes winner on Sunday when the John Moore-trained Thanks Forever (4 g ex Cinecitta by Exceed And Excel) landed the Sha Tin Vase (Gr 3, 1200m).

Last seen running a good third in the Chairman's Sprint Prize (Gr 1, 1200m), the four-year-old gelding came home strongly to clinch victory on the line, beating Hot King Prawn (Denman) by a neck, with another short-head back to Big Party (Exceed And Excel) in third. The first seven horses across the line were Australian-bred.

Purchased by George Moore for $170,000 at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the Kitchwin Hills draft, Thanks Forever is out of the winning and stakes placed Exceed And Excel (Danehill) mare Cinecitta, whose other two foals to race have also been winners,

Cinecitta herself is out of Listed winner Malagra Miss (Barathea) making her a half-sister to Listed scorer Misstrum (Stratum).

Further back this is the family of Group 1 winner Western Pago (Pago Pago) and Listed-winning pair Clarton Super (Speed Week) and Storm Wedge (Without Fear).

In 2018 Thanks Forever's Time For War (Snitzel) half-brother was purchased by Chris Waller and Denise Martin's Star Thoroughbreds for $110,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, now called Somervell the gelding has one once over 1200 metres.

Later that year Cinecitta's filly by Time For War was purchased by Carlos Aquino for $6,000 at the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale. In 2019 the mare foaled a colt by Sooboog (Snitzel) and has most recently been covered by Arrowfield Stud stallion Dundeel (High Chaparral).

Duporth, whose progeny is headed by three-time Group 1 winner Hey Doc, and he relocated to Aquis Farm's Queensland base having stood the past three years at Kooringal Stud in NSW. The stallion's fee for 2020 has been set at $4,400 (inc GST).
