Widden Stud-based first-season sire Outreach (Exceed And Excel) was handed his first winner on Thursday when Pee Dee (2 g ex Hot'n'dreamin by Nothin' Leica Dane) broke his maiden at the second time of asking in the NSW Racehorse Owners Association Handicap (900m) at Scone.

The gelding finished strongly to beat favourite Tudor Music (Your Song) by a length with another nose back to Very Sharp (Bull Point) in third.

The gelding is out Hot'n'dreamin (Nothin' Leica Dane), who has produced four winners from five foals to race.

Hot'n'dreamin herself is a sister to dual Group 1 winner Hot Danish, while she is also a half-sister to Listed winner Manaya (Hinchinbrook).

In 2019 Hot'n'dreamin had a colt by Coolmore Stud shuttler Churchill (Galileo) and was served again by Outreach last November. She also has a yearling colt by the Widden-based sire who has stood all four seasons at stud for a fee of $7,700 (inc GST).

Outreach has five lots catalogued for the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale which gets underway on February 9.
