Of the 21 trials held at Randwick on Monday morning eight were for two-year-olds and Heat 13 was won by Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) runner-up Stellar Pauline (Not A Single Doubt) who ran the 742 metres in a time of 43.93.

The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly, who finished second on debut in the Gimcrack Stakes (Gr 3, 1000m) last October, jumped well and having raced in fourth early, she went to the leaders approaching the turn.

Asked to quicken in the straight, she pulled away to an easy one and a quarter length victory over the Bjorn Baker-trained Paperscissorsrock (Scissor Kick) with the same distance back to John Thompson's Embeller (Super One) in third.

Stella Pauline is out of the unraced Red Ransom (Roberto) mare Negotiate making her a sister to the Group 1 winner Secret Agenda and a half-sister to the stakes-placed pair Donandkim (Smart Missile) and Sweetener (Sniztel). Her second dam meanwhile is the dual Group 1 winner Euphoria (Marauding).

An $875,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase by Stonestreet Stables, Stellar Pauline's Redoute's Choice (Danehill) half-brother is catalogued as Lot 106 for the forthcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Heat 11 was taken out by the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Dubai Star (Pride Of Dubai) who had not been seen since finishing sixth in the Inglis Nursery (RL, 1000m) at Randwick on December 14.

Runner-up in the Person Cooper Stakes (Listed, 1000m) on debut on November 16, Dubai Star went straight to the front under Tim Clark. Headed in the straight by the Bjorn Baker-trained Hybrid Theory (Brazen Beau), the two battled it out down the straight and Dubai Star scored a narrow victory over Hybrid Theory with three and a quarter lengths back to Diamond Kat (Sizzling) in third. The winner's time for the 742 metres was 43.49.

Dubai Star is from the first crop of Coolmore Australia's Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) who is currently sitting at the head of the first season sires table in Australia by earnings and his Coolmore barn mate Vancouver (Medaglia d'Oro) was responsible for Postcode who scored a good victory in Heat 15.

Another from the Waterhouse - Bott stable, Postcode went straight to the front, racing in the middle of the track. Wide round the turn, he quickened well in the straight and pulled away for a two length victory over Tommy Gold (Sacred Falls) from the John O'Shea stable.

Postcode was second on debut in the Breeders' Plate (Gr 3, 1000m) last October and held the same position two weeks later at Randwick over 1000 metres. Spelled, he finished second on February 6 in a 742 metre barrier trial and looks to be nearing a return to the races following Monday's trial win.

By Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Vancouver, Postcode is out of the French Group 2 winner Never Forget (Westerner). His second dam is Topira (Pistolet Bleu) who is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Golan (Nikos) and Carla (Cardoun), herself the dam of Group 3 winner Svedon (Exit To Nowhere).

Postcode was a $240,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase by Waterhouse and Bott from the draft of Glenlogan Park.
