Vancouver notched up his second winner on Friday.

Vancouver (Medaglia d'Oro), Pride Of Dubai's (Street Cry) barnmate at Coolmore Australia who sired his fifth winner on Friday, also added to his first crop winners tally on with Montia (2 f ex Pontiana by Redoute's Choice) taking out the PKF Handicap (1200m) at Moonee Valley on Friday evening. 

The Lindsay Park-trained filly became the second winner for her sire when she defeated Miss Kingston (Pride Of Dubai) by almost three lengths on debut.  

Bred by Greg Ingham, Montia is out of the Listed-placed Redoute's Choice (Danehill) mare Pontiana making her a half-sister to the Randwick Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Inference (So You Think) as well as the Group 2 winner Dragon Leap (Pierro). Her second dam is Listed winner Liberty Rose (Royal Academy) who produced five winners including stakes winning gelding Grand Jardin (Redoute's Choice). 

Montia's So You Think (High Chaparral) half-brother is catalogued as Lot 139 for the forthcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Coolmore Stud as agent. 

Vancouver covered 138 mares last season when he stood for a fee of $44,000 (inc GST). He has 16 lots catalogued to sell at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale which begins on Sunday. He had 20 yearlings sell at last month's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale at an average of $158,055 and a top price of $600,000 whilst his yearlings averaged $173,924 at the 2019 sales in Australia and New Zealand.
