Rubisaki (3 f ex Senro Kisaki by Danehill Dancer) emerged as the latest star for Coolmore's promising young sire Rubick (Encosta De Lago) when she landed the Kewney Stakes (Gr 2, 1400m) at Flemington on Saturday, becoming the stallion's third stakes winner.

The Patrick Payne-trained three-year-old has won six of her eight starts with four-successive victories which includes the $1 million Inglis 3YO Sprint (1200m) last month and she showed her mettle to beat Pretty Brazen (Brazen Beau) by just over a length.

Part-owner and syndicator Joe O'Neill is convinced the best is to come from Rubisaki and said longer term, the $7.5 million Golden Eagle (1500m) in Sydney this spring for four-year-olds would have to be on the radar.

"It's 1500 metres and she would get in," O'Neill said.

"She's a star.

"She's been to Sydney and won a $1 million race so she goes well on that leg.

"I think there's a lot more to come from her.

"I'm not sure exactly how good she is. We've looked after her and Patrick has done a marvellous job.

"There was some pressure to go to Sydney last week (for the Group 1 Surround Stakes) but we thought we'd wait here for this race and then we'll see where we go from here.

"She's a high class horse. Who knows what her limit is? She's won six out of eight and could have been eight from eight with any luck."

O'Neill said the PJ Bell Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) at Randwick could be next on the agenda for Rubisaki.

Purchased by Prime Thoroughbreds for $85,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in 2018, Rubisaki is out of two-time-winning Danehill Dancer (Danehill) mare Senro Kisaki and is the first stakes winner in two generations of her pedigree. Her third dam - Mata Cara (Storm Cat) - produced French Listed winner River Cara (Irish River), while further back this is the family of Group 3 winner Fatah Flare (Alydar) and Listed-winning trio Zaham (Silver Hawk), Special Envoy (Stroll) and Dancera (Jump Street).

Prime Thoroughbreds bought back into the family at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in January, paying $100,000 for her Sizzling (Snitzel) half-brother, meanwhile Senro Kisaki has a weanling filly by Rubick's barnmate So You Think (High Chaparral) and has since been put back in foal to the son of Encosta De Lago (Fairy King).

The filly joins Todman Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) and The Everest (1200m) winner Yes Yes Yes and Listed winner Condo's Express as the stallion's other stakes winners.

Corumbene Stud will offer the only yearling - a filly - by the sire at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale in April and she is catalogued as Lot 2.

Danehill Dancer is one of the best broodmare sires in the world, with this winning becoming the 117th stakes winner out of daughters by the sire.
