Widden Stud-based first season sire Outreach (Exceed And Excel) sired a double on Sunday and took his first crop tally to four winners.

Rose Sauvage (2 f ex Turbo Rose by Strategic) broke her maiden over 1100 metres at Coonamble whilst Outreach Belle (2 f ex Navarino Gold by Lion Heart) won over 1000 metres at Grafton for trainer Ross Stitt.

Rose Sauvage was bought for $90,000 by her trainer Tracey Bartley from the draft of Twin Hills Stud at last year's Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. She is out of the winning Strategic (Zeditave) mare Turbo Rose making her a half-sister to the Listed winner In Good Time (Time Thief). Further back this is the family of Centaine (Century) as well as Procrastinate (Jade Hunter), who produced multiple Grade 1 winner Laisserfaire (Danehill), Time Thief (Redoute's Choice) and Foreplay (Danehill).

Outreach Belle meanwhile was a bargain $1,500 buy by her trainer from the Inglis Scone Yearling Sale. She is out of the once-raced Lion Heart (Tale Of The Cat) mare Navarino Gold who is herself out of the Group 2 placed mare Air Of Grace (Vettori).

Outreach covered a book of 110 mares at Widden last season where he stood for an unchanged fee of $7,700 (inc GST). He is now sitting third in the leading first season sires table in Australia by winners behind Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) and Spill The Beans (Snitzel).
