Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m)-winning training partnership Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young unearthed another exciting two-year-old at Moonee Valley on Friday evening when Larimer Street (2 c ex Original Choice by Redoute's Choice) landed the Palentino Valley Pearl (Listed, 1200m) and in the process handed Darley sire Brazen Beau (I Am Invincible) with his seventh stakes winner.

The two-year-old was always going well and after finding the gap scampered clear to beat Vangelic (Vancouver) by three-quarters of a length with another neck back to Pioneer River (Snitzel) in third.

"He's a really nice colt and he probably hadn't enjoyed the best of luck up to today but when he got the run (tonight) he won comfortably in the end," winning jockey Damien Oliver said.

"He did (appreciate the blinkers) to some degree, they certainly sharpened him up and they didn't go hard so he probably over-travelled a touch.

"There was talk that they may look at the Sires in Sydney so out to 1400 metres and I'd probably look to take them off again.

"He's probably going to be even nicer next time in when he furnishes even more."

Larimer Street was purchased by Mark Pilkington Management and Busuttin Racing for $450,000 at Inglis Premier Yearling Sale from Blue Gum Farm draft and he is a three-quarter brother to 2019 Inglis Banner 2YO Stakes (RL, 1000m) winner Ideas Man.

The son of Brazen Beau is out of unraced Redoute's Choice (Danehill) mare Original Choice, who is herself out of Group 2 winner Innovation Girl (Rubiton). Innovation Girl also produced Listed winner Chloe In Paris (Exceed And Excel), while further back this is the family of Conte (Starcraft).

The colt joins; Pretty Brazen, Colada, Sartorial Splendor, Accession, Avengers Queen and the aforementioned Ideas Man as the stallions other stakes winners and he has two colts at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, which is scheduled to get underway on April 7.

Busuttin and Young will be represented by their stable star in tomorrow's Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) when their Blue Diamond Stakes winner Tagaloa lines up in the Group 1.
