Em Tee Aye scores at Ascot .
The Mungrup Stud-based sire I'm All The Talk (Stratum) sire his second first-season winner when Em Tee Aye (2 g ex Azita by Oratorio) landed the Amelia Park Plate (1400m) at Ascot on Wednesday.
Having the fifth start of his career, the Trevor Andrews-trained gelding beat No Surrender (Universal Ruler) by three quarters of a length with another nose back to Queen Brown (Patronize) in third.
The gelding is out of Azita (Oratorio), who is herself out of Listed-placed mare Metal Maiden (Metal Storm) - the dam of three winners.
Further back this is the family of Group 1 winner Hardrada (Marooned), Group 2 scorer Ranger (Testa Rossa), Group 3 winner Storm Alert (Metal Alert) and Listed scorers Dark Alert (Testa Rossa), Crimson Medal (Scarlet Man), Platinum Man (Barclay Joy), Lawmaker (Old Spice) and Destroy (Natural Blitz).
In 2018, Azita foaled a filly by I'm All The Talk's barnmate Playing God (Blackfriars), who was purchased by Robert Gulberti at the Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale $60,000 and has a colt weanling by another Mungrup Stud resident A Lot (Tapit).
The mare has most recently been covered again by I'm All The Talk.
The gelding joins I'm All The Talk's other winner Watch Me Dance and the stallion stood for a fee of $5,500 (inc GST) in 2019.
