Smart Missile stood his first season at Twin Hills in 2018 and last year covered a book of 136 mares at the Cootamundra-based operation. The son of Fastnet Rock (Danehill) has sired 16 stakes winners to date headed by Group 1 winner Maid Of Heaven and Smart Missile is currently sitting fifth in the Australian leading sires table by winners with 102 whilst his progeny earnings are in excess of $6.4 million.

"He's a terrific stallion and he is genuinely in the upper echelons of stallions in Australia," Olly Tait told Racing & Sports on Thursday.

"He is a remarkable win getter and also has a good number of stakes winners as well. We think that it's appropriate he stays at the same fee but at the same time I think he still represents terrific value.

"It was always the plan to keep him at his current fee even before what we are going through at the moment."

Denman (Lonrho) has also sired 16 stakes winners to date and those include dual Group 2 winner Hot King Prawn as well as Group winners Deprive, Laburnum, Whiskey Neat and Fitocracy. He will stand for $8,800 (inc GST) again this year while Odyssey Moon (Snitzel) will stand for a reduced fee of $6,600 (inc GST),  having stood his first three seasons at stud for $8,800 (inc GST).

Tait said that for his fourth season it was appropriate to reduce the fee for Odyssey Moon.

"The risks are high and I think that it is only appropriate that his fee should come down a little bit," he said.

The operation announced earlier in the week that Hallowed Crown (Street Sense) has relocated from Darley and his fee remains at $11,000 (inc GST).

"He was outstanding racehorses and his oldest progeny are only three," said Tait.

"His winners to runners ratio is very good and it looks as though he could have some high-class horses. Now, obviously they have to perform, but he is has Colette running the Adrian Knox on Saturday and she will start favourite and he has a very good horse called Crown Mint who won at Sandown the week before last as a two-year-old. He is just a lovely horse for us to get."
