Third winner for first season sire Rich Enuff.
Woodside Park-based first season sire Rich Enuff (Written Tycoon) sired his third winner on Wednesday when Hamilton Hill (2 f ex Divine City by Ferocity) won the Tab Maiden Plate (1050m) at Doomben.
The Paul Butterworth-trained filly scored by a length and three quarters over Shooting Roses (Shooting To Win), with Roman Reign (Holy Roman Emperor) a close third.
Hamilton Hill was bought for $40,000 by her trainer from the Daandine Stud draft during Book 2 of the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. She is one of two winners out of the Listed winner Divine City (Ferocity) who is the only stakes winner in four generations. The filly's fifth dam is Clandara (Sobig), the dam of seven winners including the US Grade 1 winner Pride Of Rosewood (Sir Tristram) and Australian Cup (Gr 1, 2000m) winner Admiral Lincoln (Sir Tristram).
Rich Enuff's first winners were Plutocrat and Sassy Enuff.
Woodside Park announced on Tuesday that they would sell ten yearlings, originally set to sell at the Inglis Melbourne Gold Yearling Sale, via the Inglis Online Digital Sales Platform, including yearlings by the son of Written Tycoon (Iglesia). Details of each lot are due to be released on Friday.
