Foxwedge - Wild Vixen's (3 f ex Amy's Glen by Shamardal) win in the HC Nitschke Stakes (Listed, 1400m) at Morphettville on Saturday provided the now Woodside Park-based sire Foxwedge (Fastnet Rock) with his 18th stakes winner. A $100,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase from the draft of Tyreel Stud by Kavanagh Racing, Wild Vixen is the first stakes winner out of Listed placed Shamardal (Giant's Causeway) mare Amy's Glen. Foxwedge joined the roster at Woodside Park in 2019 having begun his career at Henry Field's Newgate Farm in the Hunter Valley. The victory was also the 41st stakes winner for Shamardal as a broodmare sire. Darley announced earlier this month that the former shuttler had died as a result of health issues.

Heart's Cry - sired his 44th individual stakes winner on Saturday when A Shin Rook (6 g ex Eishin Linden by Alydeed) scored in the City Of Adelaide Handicap (Listed, 1400m) at Morphettville. Heart's Cry (Sunday Silence) has sired 10 Group / Grade 1 winners including Cox Plate (Gr 1, 2040m) Lys Gracieux and Caulfield Cup (Gr 1, 2400m) winner Admire Rakti, with A Shin Rock becoming his sires third stakes winner in Australia. The Shadai Stallion Station-based sire is third in the leading sires table in Japan behind Deep Impact (Sunday Silence) and Lord Kanaloa (King Kamehameha). 

Kinshasa No Kiseki - Bullbear Iride (4 h ex Silk Symphony by Storming Home) became the ninth stakes winner for his sire Kinshasa No Kiseki (Fuji Kiseki) when landing Saturday's Oasis Stakes (Listed, 1600m) at Tokyo. The Shadai Stallion Station-based sire has sired four Grade 2 winners in Shuji, Monde Can Know, Galore Creek and Luftstrom and is currently sitting tenth in the leading sires table in Japan by earnings. 

Pierro - Sacramento (3 g ex Alzora by Redoute's Choice) prevailed by the narrowest of margins in Saturday's St Leger Stakes (Listed, 2800m) at Flemington with the victory handing Coolmore Australia's Pierro (Lonhro) his 23rd stakes winner and eighth out of a Redoute's Choice (Danehill) mare. Three of Pierro's six Group 1 winners (Arcadia Queen, Regal Power and Levendi) are out of mares by Redoute's Choice as are Group 2 winners Dragon Leap and Action, Group 3 winner Arcadia Prince and Listed winners Furore and Kentucky Breeze the others. Pierro, who has four crops of racing age, is currently sitting second in the leading sires table in Australia by earnings with prize money earnings of just under $250,000 behind leader Snitzel (Redoute's Choice). 

Rulership - Fairy Poker (4 m ex Fairy Dance by Agnes Tachyon) provided her sire with his 13th stakes winner on Saturday when she landed the Himba Stakes (Gr 3, 1800m) at Fukushima Racecourse. Rulership (King Kamehameha), who stands at Shadai Stallion Station, has four crops of racing age and his stakes winners are headed by two winners at the highest level in Caulfield Cup (Gr 1, 2400m) winner Mer De Glace and Kiseki. 

Screen Hero - The victory of Win Marilyn (3 f ex Cosmo Cielo by Fusaichi Pegasus) in Sunday's Sho Flora Stakes (Japanese Oaks Trial) (Gr 2, 2000m) at Tokyo provided Screen Hero (Grass Wonder) with his eighth stakes winner. Win Marilyn has now won three of her four career starts and her sire, who stands at Lex Stud in Japan, has sired two Grade 1 winners to date in Gold Actor and multiple Grade 1 winner Maurice who has shuttled to Australia for the past three seasons where he has covered 278 mares. 

Sepoy - Darley's Sepoy (Elusive Quality) was represented by his 16th stakes winner on Saturday when Sweet Scandal (4 m ex Bacchanal Woman by Encosta De Lago) captured the Hawkesbury Crown (Gr 3, 1500m) at Rosehill. Darley announced earlier this month that Sepoy would stand for a reduced fee of $7,700 (inc GST) at their Northwood Park in Victoria this season, with the son of Elusive Quality (Gone West) having stood for $11,000 (inc GST) for the last two years. A $230,000 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale purchase by Laurel Oak Bloodstock from the draft of Widden Stud, Sweet Scandal is out of the Listed-winning Encosta De Lago (Fairy King) mare Bacchanal Woman. 

Shamus Award - Flying Award (2 c ex Flying Dansino by Fusaichi Pegasus) won the Anzac Day Stakes (Listed,1400m) at Flemington on Saturday to hand the Rosemont Stud-based Shamus Award (Snitzel) with his seventh stakes winner. Flying Award is a half-brother to the stakes placed filly Snake Charmer (Pentire) being out of the Listed placed Flying Dansino (Fusaichi Pegasus). Shamus Award relocated to Rosemont last year having stood his first five seasons at stud at Widden.
