Group 2 winner Cosmic Force (Deep Field) will stand alongside his father Deep Field (Northern Meteor) at Newgate Stud in 2020. He will stand his first season for a fee of $16,500 (inc GST).
Cosmic Force won the Pago Pago Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) as a two-year-old and the Roman Consul Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) at three, which saw him accumulate $486,765 in career prize-money.
The colt is out of winning Commands (Danehill) mare Little Zeta, making him a half-brother to Onemorezeta Group 3 winner (Onemorenomore), while further afield he was from the family of Listed winner More Than Great (More Than Ready).
Cosmic Force is the third new stallion on Newgate Farm's roster for 2020, joining Doncaster Mile (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Brutal (O'Reilly), who will stand at $27,500 (inc GST), while Tassort (Brazen Beau) will stand his first season for a fee of $11,000 (inc GST).
