Not A Single Doubt.

Ciaron Maher, David Eustace and Aquis Farm look to have another useful two-year-old on their hands in the form of Anders (2 c Not a Single Doubt - Madame Andree by War Emblem) who broke his maiden over 1100 metres at Wyong on Thursday.

The colt - who becomes the 28th juvenile winner for the stable this season - showed his class as he pulled away to post an ultra impressive six and three quarter length victory over Sharpshooter (Hinchinbrook).

Purchased by his trainer and Aquis Farm for $670,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the Arrowfield Stud draft, the colt - who was having his fifth career start on Thursday - is out of unraced War Emblem (Our Emblem) mare Madame Andree, making him a three-quarters brother to stakes-placed Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) colt Battleground.

The colt’s third dam is Appealing Story (Valid Appeal) - the dam of Grade 1 winner Exciting Story (Diablo) and Listed-winning trio Strong Memory (End Sweep), Sweeping Story (End Sweep) and Diablo’s Story (Diablo) - who in turn produced fellow Listed winner Open Story (Open Forum).

Further back this is the family of Listed scorers Red Claudia (Agnes Tachyon) and Colourful Days (Fuji Kiseki).

The colt’s Shalaa (Invincible Spirit) half-brother was purchased by George Moore for $360,000 at this year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the Arrowfield Stud draft, while she has a weanling filly by Snitzel and has most recently seen covered by Pariah (Redoute’s Choice).

The recently pensioned Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) has enjoyed a lucrative season, headlined by his son Farnan - who provided the stallion with his first winner of the Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m).
