Super quick Maribyrnong Trial Stakes (Listed, 1000m) winner Unite And Conquer (Hinchinbrook) will join the Kingstar Stud roster in 2020, where he will stand for an introductory fee of $6,600 (inc GST).

Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the son of Hinchinbrook (Fastnet Rock) won Maribyrnong Trial Stakes on his first start, before taking out the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1100m) on his second outing. His career was curtailed when he injured a tendon in the 2019 Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) on what would prove to be his final start.

Purchased by his trainers and Blueblood Thoroughbreds for $80,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in 2018, Unite And Conquer is out of Melbourne city-winning mare Maglissa (Magnus), herself a daughter of Group 1 winner Danglissa (Danzero) whose offspring have also produced stakes winners Euryale (Lonhro) and Sweet Redemption (Snitzel).

"He was an exceptionally fast and early two year-old," said Adam Cook, Kingstar Stud manager.

"United and Conquer has the sort of two year-old pedigree and race record, albeit cut short, that we value in a stallion and once I'd had the chance to see him earlier this year I knew he'd impress breeders on type.

"It's been a long time since many have laid eyes on him and let me assure you, he's as impressive as he was on the track. The 16 months off due to injury may well be a blessing going in to the breeding barn."
