Darley-based first-season sire Kermadec (Teofilo) was provided with his second winner on Friday courtesy of Seduction Queen's (2 f ex Seduction Line by Testa Rossa) victory in the Barlens Hire Maiden Plate (1300m) at Goulburn on debut.

Trained by Michael and Richard Freedman, the two-year-old scooted clear to beat Petaluma (Pierro) by a length with another length and a half back to Natanya (Pierro) in third.

Purchased by Heart Thoroughbreds for $80,000 from the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the Raheen Stud draft, the filly becomes the sixth winner out of unraced mare Seduction Line (Testa Rossa), whose progeny is headed by 2016 Sprint Handicap (Gr 3, 1350m) winner Snippets Land (Snippetson) and Listed-placed Canny Franco (Canny Lad).

Further back this is the same family as Listed-winning duo Slipstream (Hurricane Sky) and Blazing Aspect (Blazing Sword).

In 2018 Seduction Line produced a colt by Vinery Stud-basd sire All Too Hard (Casino Prince), before foaling a colt by Kitchwin Hills' exciting young sire Sooboog (Snitzel) and she has most recently been covered by Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock).

Kermadec - who counts Montefilia as his other winner - will stand the upcoming breeding season at Kelvinside in New South Wales for a reduced fee of $13,750 (inc GST).
