The Paul Messara-trained Outburst (2 g ex Raweesha by Redoute's Choice) ran out a ready winner of the Trybooking.Com Maidan Handicap (1400m) at Scone on Tuesday and in the process became former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Real Impact's (Deep Impact) first Australian winner.

Having the second start of his career, Outburst came widest of all before accelerating impressively to hold the challenge of Saquon (No Nay Never), beating him by half a length, while Underboss (Animal Kingdom) was a further two and three-quarter lengths back in third.

Retained by Arrowfield when failing to make his $20,000 reserve at the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale in 2019, Outburst is the only winner out of placed Redoute's Choice (Danehill) mare Raweesha.

Meanwhile, the gelding's second dam is winning mare Wood Lane (Sadler's Wells), who is herself out of Grade 1 winner Infamy (Shirley Heights), making her a sister to Group 2 winner Moon Queen - the dam of Group 3 winner Beauty Parlour (Elusive Quality) and Listed scorer The Brothers War (War Front).

Infamy also produced Group 3 winner Barafamy (Barathea) and Listed scorer Rostropovich (Sadler's Wells), while she is also the dam of Grade 2 winner Innuendo (Caerleon). Innuendo herself is the dam of Listed scorer Peacoat (Doyen) and Grade 2 winner Criticism (Machiavellian), who in turn produced Listed winner Magical Touch (Dubawi).

In 2019 Raweesha foaled a brother to Outburst and she has most recently been served by Territories (Invincible Spirit).

Real Impact, who shuttled to Australia for three seasons, is the sire of 29 winners overall, headed by Tokyo NHK Mile Cup (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Lauda Sion.
