Rebel Dane to stand for a fee of $5,000.
Rebel Dane (California Dane) will stand at Glen Eden Stud for a fee of $5,000 (inc GST) in 2020.
The son of California Dane (Danehill) stood last season for a fee of $6,600 (inc GST) and covered 11 mares.
Rebel Dane's first runners are due to hit the track this season and Sonia O'Gorman from Glen Eden Stud said: "His biggest traits on the racecourse is that he was very tough and resilient where he raced for five years in Group 1 and Group 2 company and retired sound.
"You couldn't ask more from the horse, he has a great nature and is very confident."
Rebel Dane will be joined the Glen Eden Stud roster by Giant's Steps (Giant's Causeway), who will be offered to breeders at a fee of $4,000 (inc GST).
"Giant's Steps is very gentle and good to handle on the farm and has been adapting very well to any change. He had a good season last year serving double what he did the year before," said O'Gorman.
