Filly provides Super One with eighth winner.
The Newgate Farm-based Super One (I Am Invincible) sired this eighth first-crop winner when the Patrick Payne-trained Miss Divine Em (2 f ex Manhattan Angel by Statue Of Liberty) landed the Goodwin Village Donald Maiden 2YO Plate (1002m) at Donald.
Having finished fourth on debut at Moe, the two-year-old prevailed in a close finish to beat Diesel 'N' Dust (Pride Of Dubai) by a neck with another length and a quarter back to Early Plea (Star Witness) in third.
Purchased by Prime Thoroughbreds for $42,500 at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale, Miss Divine Em is out of dual winning mare Manhattan Angel (Statue Of Liberty), making her a half-sister to a further two winners.
The filly's third dam produced Grade 2 winner Seattle Ice (Xaar) and Listed-winning Grade 1-placed Profit Report (Noverre). Further afield this is the same family of Group 3 winner Pleasuring (Hard Spun).
In 2018 Manhattan Angel produced a colt by Flying Artie (Artie Schiller) who died after birth and has most recently been covered by Super One again.
Super One stands at Newgate Farm for a fee of $11,000 (inc GST).
