Group 3 winner Bellevue Hill - a son of Pierro (Lonhro) - will stand at Aquis Farm's Hunter base in 2020 for an introductory fee of $11,000 (inc GST).

Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the colt retired the winner of two of his seven starts, which saw him pocket $175,450 in career prize-money and he will stand alongside another son of Pierro in Pierata, who will also cover his first book of mares in New South Wales.

Bellevue Hill broke his maiden on his first start scoring by five and a quarter lengths over 1000 metres, before finishing second to subsequent Everest (1200m) winner Yes Yes Yes (Rubick) in the Todman Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m).

The colt then went on to win the Schweppervescence Handicap (Gr 3, 1400m).

"We are extremely excited to be able to stand Bellevue Hill this season, our second son of Champion Sire in waiting Pierro, who will compliment Pierata and give breeders a wonderful opportunity to access a son of Pierro at a very affordable fee," said Aquis CEO Tubba Williams.

"Bellevue Hill exudes quality, scintillating speed and is from a fast, tough, colonial two-year-old group-winning family, having the presence of breed-shaping sires Zabeel, Danehill, Star Kingdom and Showdown in his pedigree."

Aquis Farm sold the colt for $400,000 to Gai Waterhouse, Blue Sky Bloodstock and Rifa Mustang 2018 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale and he is out of Bellevue Girl (Exceed And Excel), who Aquis purchased with Bellevue Hill in utero for $240,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2016.

Bellevue Girl herself is out of multiple Group 2 winner On Type (Zeditave), making her a sister to Group 3 winner Sugar Babe, while she is also a half-sister to the dam of Listed scorer Typing (Sebring).
