Darley's Exosphere (Lonhro) sired his second winner on Tuesday when the Kris Lees-trained No Laughing Matter (2 f ex Laughing by Distorted Humor) broke her maiden in the Prime7 Local News Maiden Handicap (1206m) at Port Macquarie. 

The filly defeated three-year-old Whatsin (Epaulette) by one and three quarter lengths having finished unplaced on debut last month at Tamworth. 

A $38,000 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale purchase by Australian Bloodstock from the draft of Moobi Farm, No Laughing Matter becomes the first winner for her dam Laughing (Distorted Humor), a winner over 1100 metres. 

Her second dam is the unraced Deputy Minister (Vice Regent) mare Forest City Girl, the dam of five winners headed by Listed winning Outskirt Lady (Purge), who is a half-sister to dual Grade 1 winning filly Better Lucky (Ghostzapper). 

Laughing was bought for $80,000 by Moobi farm at the 2017 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. She has a colt by Astern (Medaglia d'Oro), who was bought for $60,000 by Kilgravin Lodge / Waikato Bloodstock at this year's Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, a weanling filly by Exosphere and she was covered by Pariah (Redoute's Choice) last October. 

Exospheres first crop are headed by Magic Night Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) winner Thermosphere and the stakes placed Jemss. His 2020 fee at Darley Kelvinside is set at $16,500 (inc GST), having stood for $22,000 for the previous two seasons.
