Colt’s Sebring half-brother to be offered at Magic Millions.

The well-bred filly Redoute's Image (2 f Redoute's Choice - Tracy's Image by Encosta De Lago) chalked up her first victory at the fifth time of asking when she landed the Yes Yes Yes at Coolmore Maiden 2YO Plate (1100m) at Canterbury on Wednesday and in so doing provided a timely pedigree update for her Sebring (More Than Ready) half-brother who is set to be offered at the upcoming Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale on August 3. 

The Kris Lees-trained two-year-old produced a gutsy display to beat La Foret (Deep Field) by a neck, while Joviality (I Am Invincible) finished another three and a quarter lengths away in third. 

Redoute's Image was purchased by owners Australian Bloodstock and Ronald Rauscher, for $320,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and she is out of Tracy's Image (Encosta De Lago), who is herself a three-quarter sister to Lake Superior - the dam of Group 1 winner Alligator Blood (All Too Hard). 

Tracy's Image herself is out of multiple South African Grade 1 winner Tracy's Element (Last Tycoon), making her a half-sister to multiple Group 1-winning champion mare Typhoon Tracy (Red Ransom) and Listed winner Red Element (Red Ransom). Tracy's Element also produced Group 1 runner-up Kylikwong (Red Ransom) - the dam of Listed winner Cantonese (Redoute's Choice). 

In 2018 Tracy's Image produced a colt by Sebring (More Than Ready) and she was not served the next year, while she has most recently been covered by Eureka Stud-based sire Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo). 

Redoute's Choice proved himself to be the perfect fit when mated with daughter's of Encosta De Lago, with the cross producing nine stakes winners, headed by Group 1-winning trio Musir, Peeping and Alabama Express, who is embarking on his first season at YuLong Stud in Victoria.
