The Woodside Park Stud-based first-season sire Rich Enuff (Written Tycoon) chalked up his seventh first-crop winner on Monday when the Anthony Freedman-trained Spy Colonel (2 g ex Fantastic Glen by Fantastic Light) broke his maiden over 1400 metres at Pakenham.

Having finished seventh on his previous two starts, the gelding pulled clear to beat Lord Wonder (Shocking) by a quarter of a length with another three lengths back to Sunshine Girl (Fighting Sun) in third.

Purchased by his trainer and Julian Blaxland's Blue Sky Bloodstock for $55,000 at the Magic Millions March Yearling Sale, the gelding is out of four time-winning Fantastic Light (Rahy) mare Fantastic Glen, making her a half-sister to two winners.

Fantastic Glen herself is out of stakes-placed mare Carlin (Scenic), who in turn produced Listed-placed Amy's Glen (Shamardal) - the dam of Listed scorer Wild Vixen (Foxwedge).

In 2019 Fantastic Glen produced a colt by Alert (Southern Halo).

Rich Enuff's seven winners are headed by Tattersall's Club Stakes (Listed, 1400m) winner Plutocrat and he will stand at Woodside Park Stud for a fee of $8,800 (inc GST) in 2020.
