The Rex Lipp-trained Tycoon Evie (3 f Written Tycoon - Winaura by Show A Heart) shed her maiden tag on her third career start when she landed the XXXX Dry Maiden Plate (1200m) at Doomben on Wednesday.

Last seen finishing third over 1200 metres at Eagle Farm on August 15, having run second at the Sunshine Coast on debut in July, the three-year-old filly stayed on well to beat Auron (Savabeel) by three-quarters of a length, while Shamrock Lu (Hallowed Crown) was another length and a half further away in third.

Bred by the Cullen's Wicklow Lodge, the three-year-old filly is out of five-time winner Winaura (Show A Heart), making her a sister to BRC Champagne Classic (Gr 2, 1200m) winner and now Newgate Farm-based sire Winning Rupert and a further two winners.

In 2018 Winaura produced a filly by Winning Rupert's barnmate Capitalist (Written Tycoon).

Former Woodside Park Stud resident Written Tycoon (Iglesia) has been relocated to Arrowfield Stud for the 2020 season where he will stand for a fee of $77,000 (inc GST), while his aforementioned son Winning Rupert's first runners hit the track this season and he will be standing the upcoming breeding season for a fee of $16,500 (inc GST).
