The regally-bred Berruti (4 h Medaglia d’Oro - Listen Here by Elusive Quality) - who is half-brother to Group 1 winners and now sires Shooting To Win (Northern Meteor) and Deep Field (Northern Meteor) - got off the mark at the first time of asking over 1000 metres at Muswellbrook on Thursday.

The four-year-old got the better of Enamour (Charm Spirit), beating her by half a length, while She's Super (Super One) finished another four and a quarter lengths away in third.

Listed winner Listen Here has now produced five winners, including the aforementioned pair Shooting To Win and Deep Field, while she is also the dam of Group 3-placed Zaniah (Zoustar).

Further back this is the same family as Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) winner Luna Rossa (Written Tycoon), Group 3 winner She’s So High (I Am Invincible) and Listed winner Mockery (Verrazano).

Listen Here’s three-year-old - a colt by Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) called Rights Of Man - is unraced, while in 2019 she produced a filly by Yarraman Park-based sire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit).

Medaglia d’Oro (El Prado) shuttled to Australia for ten seasons, but did not return in 2018 and he resides at Darley’s Jonabell Farm base in Kentucky, where his fee in 2020 was advertised as US$200,000.
