Former Aquis Farm shuttler Dream Ahead (Diktat) was handed his 29th stakes winner on Saturday as the Grant and Alana Williams-trained Magical Dream (3 f ex Mystic Hour by Redoute's Choice) stretched her unbeaten record to three in the Belgravia Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Ascot.

The three-year-old filly scooted clear of her stablemate Mystical View (Canford Cliffs), beating her by a length and a quarter, while Watch Me Dance (I’m All The Talk) was another nose away in third.

Bred and raced by Bob Peters, the filly is out of the four-time winning Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) mare Mystic Hour, making her a sister to 2017 Ascot One Thousand Guineas (Listed, 1800m) winner Awaken.

Mystic Hour herself is a daughter of Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed mare Fatal Attraction Zabeel), who is herself a half-sister to fellow Group 2 winner Happy Morning (Danehill) and the dam of En Lauder (Zabeel).

Magical Dream has an unraced two-year-old sister called Final Hour, while Mystic Hour produced another filly by Dream Ahead in 2019 and has most recently been covered by Arrowfield Stud shuttler Maurice (Screen Hero).

Dream Ahead shuttled to Australia for seven seasons, but did not return in 2019 and he now resides exclusively at Haras de Grandcamp where his fee in 2020 was advertised as €12,000.
