Daughter of All Too Hard gets off the mark at Tuncurry
The Jeff Englebrecht-trained The Neon Knight (3 f All Too Hard - She's Not by Falvelon) broke her maiden when scoring over 1000 metres at Tuncurry on Monday.
The daughter of Vinery Stud-based All Too Hard (Casino Prince) pulled clear to beat Loburn Lass (Dissident) by a decisive two lengths, while Tinka's Lad (Myboycharlie) was another nose away in third.
Purchased by Ulysses Crosson for $21,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale from the Bowness Stud draft, the filly is the third winner out of placed Falvelon (Alannon) mare She’s Not.
She’s Not is a daughter of Group 1 winner She’s A Meanie (Prince Salieri) who is also the dam of Group 2 scorer and now Clear Mountain Fairview-based sire Love Conquers All (Mossman) and Listed scorer She’s Meaner (Falvelon).
She’s Meaner produced dual Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed colt Lean Mean Machine (Zoustar).
She’s Not’s filly by Newgate Farm-based Deep Field (Northern Meteor) was purchased by Kavanagh Racing for $85,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale earlier this year and after to missing to his barnmate Flying Artie (Artie Schiller), she produced a colt by Widden Stud-based sire Trapeze Artist (Snitzel) and was covered by him again this season.
All Too Hard’s progeny is headed by Group 1-winning pair Behemoth and Alligator Blood and he has 15 lots catalogued at next year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
