The Leon and Troy Corstens-trained Estoril Park (3 f Pride of Dubai - Straveen by Stravinsky) got off the mark at the second attempt over 1000 metres at Cranbourne on Friday and in the process handed her American Pharoah (Pioneerof The Nile) half-brother a timely update ahead of him selling at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale later this year.

The filly came out on top of a close finish to beat Lady Mofeed (Akeed Mofeed) by a nose, while Aminatu (Danerich) was another length and a quarter away in third.

Estoril Park becomes the fourth winner out of four time Stravinsky (Nureyev) mare Straveen, who is herself the daughter of stakes-placed mare Sursum Corda (Zabeel).

Sursum Corda herself is a grandam of stakes winner Jericho Missile (Smart Missile).

Further back this is the same family as Group 1-winning pair St Reims (Zabeel) and Champagne (Zabeel) - who in turn produced fellow elite level winner Charmont (High Chaparral), this is also the family of multiple elite level-winning champion mare Bonneval (Makfi).

Leneva Park will offer Straveen’s colt by Coolmore Stud’s American Triple Crown-winning shuttler American Pharoah at this year’s Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and he is catalogued as Lot 373, while she has most recently been covered by his barnmare Vancouver (Medaglia d’Oro).

Coolmore Stud-based Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) is represented by 21 lots at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, which gets underway on Tuesday.
