Snitzel colt makes winning debut at Kyneton with his half-brother set to sell at Easter
Regally bred Rights Of Man (3 c Snitzel - Listen Here by Elusive Quality) got off the mark at the first time of asking when he landed a maiden over 1112 metres at Kyneton on Tuesday.
Trained by Danny O’Brien, the three-year-old showed a good turn of foot to beat With Edge (Canford Cliffs) by a length and a quarter. O'Whatapicture (O’Lonhro) was a further quarter of a length away in third.
The colt is out of Listed-winning Elusive Quality (Gone West) mare Listen Here, whose five winners are headed by Group 1 winner and now Darley Stud sire Shooting To Win (Northern Meteor) and Group 2 winner Deep Field (Northern Meteor), who now stands at Newgate Farm.
Listen Here is a half-sister to the dam of Group 3 winner She’s So High (I Am Invincible) and Listed scorer Mockery (Verrazano), while this is also the same family as Group 1 winner Luna Rossa (Written Tycoon).
Cressfield will offer the colt’s I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) half-sister at this year’s Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and she is catalogued as Lot 392.
After missing to I Am Invincible in 2019, Listen Here was most recently covered again by the Yarraman Park-based sire.
