Latest order of entry released will 11 spots still remaining
Dual Group 3 winner Enthaar (Written Tycoon) is unlikely to line up in the Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Rosehill on March 20.
Co-trainer Ciaron Maher confirmed on Monday that the two-year-old filly, who was last seen finishing sixth in the Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) after being sent off the well-backed favourite, will likely head to the paddock for a spell.
Maher and David Eustace stable’s hopes of having a runner in the Rosehill Group 1 now lie with Bruckner (Snitzel), but he will have to win Saturday’s ballot exempt Pago Pago Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) to make it into the field for the Golden Slipper.
The latest order of entry for the Golden Slipper was released on Monday, and there are eleven available spots - two of which will be snapped up in the Magic Night Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) and Pago Pago Stakes - and Enthaar joins five other runners in the Top 20 of the Golden Slipper order of entry not running.
Sneaky Five (Fastnet Rock) (sixth), Finance Tycoon (Written Tycoon) (eighth), Alpine Edge (Better Than Ready) (ninth), Dosh (Rich Enuff) (10th) and Fake Love (Fastnet Rock) (16th) are all either in the paddock or aiming at other targets.
