1. Snitzel sired his 15th Group 1 winner when Sword Of State won the the Sistema Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Ellerslie with a run in Saturday’s Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) now in consideration. Sword Of State also gave Snitzel his fifth juvenile Group 1 winner.

2. Melody Belle won her 14th Group 1 race, breaking Sunline’s record in the process, when taking out the Bonecrusher New Zealand Stakes (Gr 1, 2000m) at Ellerslie. 

3. Ocean Park sired his third Group 1 winner when Ocean Billy won the Auckland Cup (Gr 1, 3200m) at Ellerslie.

4. Eurozone sired his first Group 1 winner when Krone won the Coolmore Classic (Gr 1, 1500m) at Rosehill.

5. Mugatoo defeated Russian Camelot by half a length to take out the third running of the $5million All-Star Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley. 

6. Deep Impact sired his 136th group winner when Rambling Alley won the Nakayama Himba Stakes (Gr 3, 1800m). Deep Impact has sired 170 stakes winners in total.

7. Footsetpsinthesand sired his 66th stakes winner when Mum’s Tipple won the Lady Wulfruna Stakes (Listed, 6f) at Wolverhampton.

8. Myboycharlie sired his 21st stakes winner when Grandslam, a brother to Jameka, impressively won the Alister Clark Stakes (Gr 2, 2040m) at Moonee Valley. 

9. Nicconi (Bianconi) sired his 21st stakes winner when Scorched Earth won the Valley Pearl Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Moonee Valley.

10. Shaquero (Shalaa) and Arcaded (Street Boss) won the respective colts and fillies Golden Slipper (Gr 1, 1200m) trials at Rosehill with Arcaded uncertain to back up in Saturday’s two-year-old feature. 

11. Lucas Cranach sired his first stakes winner when Flash Aah won the Australian Turf Club Trophy Handicap (Listed, 1400m) at Gold Coast.

12. First season sire Sooboog sired his fifth winner when Boudica’s Gift won over 1200m at Rockhampton. He is equal second in the Australian first season sires table by winners, tying with Flying Artie and one behind the leader Capitalist.
