Owner Bob Peters has confirmed Arcadia Queen (Pierro) has recovered from the foot bruising that meant she was withdrawn from the All-Star Mile (1600m) on the morning of the race and she will now aim to get her autumn campaign back on track when she lines up in the George Ryder Stakes (Gr 1, 1500m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

Peters said Grant and Alana Williams-trained mare galloped strongly at Bendigo on Tuesday morning and said she would be on the float to Sydney this week and would take her chance in the Group 1 should the ground not come up too soft.

"We'll head up to Sydney during the week and hopefully it doesn't rain too much. If it gets too Heavy, Heavy, we won't run but she'll probably start in the Soft.

"If we had to wait, we've got the Emancipation (Stakes for mares) the following week."

Peters said it was with some relief the hoof ailment was pinpointed after a series of scans and x-rays on Monday.

"I am pleased we got to the bottom of it," he said. "She had a bit of bruising in the hind heel. We got the farrier out late yesterday and changed her shoes and today she's trotting up perfectly.

"She worked at Bendigo and her trackwork rider said she is as good as she's ever been, she trotted up there as well on the concrete and her head didn't move."
