Isotop (Deep Field) faces a tougher field in Saturday’s Darby Munro Stakes (Listed, 1200m) however, trainer Tony Gollan feels a lot more confident going into this week’s race.

"I feel a lot more at ease going into this meeting, compared to last week not knowing how wet that track would get," Gollan said on his weekly Final Gallop preview.

"I like the fact they re-opened the noms because we've come up with a better barrier. There's more speed as well, so it changes the dynamic of the race.

"I think she finds a lovely run in transit this time. She maps much better and she's a great chance."

Isotope faces what looks like a tougher field this week compared to the original Darby Munro acceptors with impressive first-up winner of the Incognitus Stakes (Listed, 1100m) Marboosha (Dream Ahead) and Thousand Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Odeum (Written Tycoon) now among her rivals.

The daughter of Deep Field (Northern Meteor) will also face the Annabel Neasham-trained Prague (Redoute’s Choice) who was to have jumped from barrier seven last weekend but has been given gate 12 for Saturday’s rescheduled race. His stablemate Holyfield (I Am Invincible), who originally had barrier four and then drew the outside in 14 will not take his place in Saturday’s field.

"I would have preferred to run them from the barriers they got last week," Neasham said.

"But Prague is a classy colt. His run in the Newmarket was unbelievable and he's heading towards an All Aged Stakes.

"The barrier is a concern but he probably needs a run, so I'll chat with the owners and see what they want to do."

Meanwhile, Gollan has said that Jonker (Spirit Of Boom) will line up in The Galaxy (Gr 1, 1100m) providing the track improves to a Heavy8 or Soft7.

"The track will be far more okay than it was last week. Would I prefer a 4,5 or 6? Yes, but he can still race well on this type of ground," he said.

"He should run well. His work has been terrific this week."
