Daughter of Commands will take her place in Saturday’s HE Tancred Stakes
Melody Belle (Commands) has been cleared to run in Saturday’s HE Tancred Stakes (Gr 1, 2400m) after being given a clean bill of health by Racing NSW veterinarians.
The Jamies Richards-trained mare had tied-up following trackwork on Wednesday and Racing NSW general manager of veterinary services, Dr Toby Koenig, reported on Friday that blood tests taken from the mare showed "significant improvement" and he declared her fit to line up.
The 14-time Group 1 winner is on the second line of TAB fixed odds betting at $6 behind Cox Plate (Gr 1, 2040m) winner Sir Dragonet (Camelot) at $5.
