Cool Aza Beel (Savabeel) will stand his first season at Newhaven Park Stud for a fee of $16,500 (inc GST).

The son of Savabeel (Zabeel) retires the winner of four of his six career starts with his victories headed by the Sistema Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Ellerslie last March whilst he also won the Karaka 2YO Million (RL, 1200m).

Bought by David Ellis for NZ$150,000 at New Zealand Bloodstock’s Karaka Book 1 sale in 2019, Cool Aza Beel is out of the winning Testa Rossa (Perugino) mare Cool ‘N’ Sassy. His third dam is Tennessee Morn (Bletchingly) whose ten winners are headed by dual Group 1 winner Malaguerra (Magnus), while this is also the family of 2011 Coolmore Classic (registered as TAD Kennedy Stakes) (Gr 1, 1500m) winner Aloha (Encosta De Lago).

Aloha herself is a daughter of Listed winner Tennessee Midnight (Danehill) - the grandam of Group 2 scorer My Emotion (Savabeel), who is herself a half-sister to the dam of Group 1 winner Seabrook (Hinchinbrook).

Tennessee Midnight is out of Group 2 scorer Tennessee Morn (Bletchingly), making her a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Malaguerra (Magnus).

Meanwhile, Xtravagant (Pentire) will stand his fifth season at Newhaven Stud for an unchanged fee of $11,000 (inc GST).

The son of Pentire (Be My Guest) has sired one winner from seven starters, while he had 22 yearlings sell this year for an aggregate of $1,051,000 at an average of $52,550.
